A minor; again the missing note is C. The notes that make up A minor are A, C, and E, so we will do A here at the 12th fret of the 5th string. We will do C at the 13th fret. We have actually fret that note at the 13th fret of the 2nd string, and then we will do a harmonic here, E at the 12th fret of the 1st string, that gives us A, C, and E; the three notes that make up A minor ,and that gives us a nice unique A minor sound.
So, not co-incidentally, we have all the major and minor chords from G major. The key of G major; we have G major, we have B minor, we have A minor, we have a C major, let's try that. We have E minor and we have D major. Now that we have got these chords that we have constructed using these combination of harmonic notes and Fret Root notes, let's put it together in a chord progression that utilizes the best of these. So I will play it for you, just a little part we are going to learn right now slowly.
So I am doing a G major Chord, E minor, A minor, D major.
So, let's start with the slide from the 4th fret to the 5th fret on the 2nd string, you can use your third finger, then you open 1st string, and so for harmonics, what you want to do is just take your finger, the third finger across the 12th fret right on top of the fret itself, and you are actually not pushing the strings down.
