And then you just go to the next string, do the same thing and the idea is to keep your right hand going down-up, down-up, down-up, and not having any gaps between the notes.
So, if you start out this fast, you don't want to keep up that speed. If you are having trouble getting your fingers in place in time, then the idea is to slow it down then, so that you don't have to have a huge gap between the notes. You can keep your right hand or your picking hand moving at a constant rate as you plug in new notes and new frets.
Once you get to the end there on the first string with your pinky at the 10th fret here, then the idea is just to go backwards. Now, once you get used to that one, we are picking each one four times, then you want to actually move on to one way you are picking each note just once.
The idea is, is when you go to the way picking it just one time after picking, having picked it four times, you want to start at a little slow. Again, keep your picking hand picking at a constant rate.
The intro starts on the low E string and it goes like this. So then it is the B, A, and see, I keep this D ringing on the G throughout the whole thing.
