Danny Grady: Let's try one more bend here on the 15th fret of the second string. Place your third finger down on the 15th fret of the second string, second finger helps.
Again, it does not matter where your second finger is at, especially up here on these tiny frets. Your second finger may rest on top of the fret. Once you have this note fretted, everything behind it is fine. So, the third finger does the bend here on the 15th fret, second finger helps, first finger meets the strings above. I am going to take my pinky and just grab the 17th fret here, set my target note, come back. My thumb is my leverage, push up.
Sometimes you might overshoot it. Just bring it back down right down the pitch. Sometimes you go under, just keep pushing, use your ears. Really, use your ears to get you where you need to go. It has been said that you don't really bend with your fingers so much as you bend with your ears, and that is very true. So, rely on that target, note as much as you can. Get that target note, get that target note and that target pitch in your head, keep pushing until you feel that bend hit the target.
Alright, that's whole-step bend.
