Learn about Background Light Modifiers

There are several light modifiers that can be use to light a studio background. Grids, focus on direct to light straight ahead and can be use to create a halo effect behind your subject. One modifier is called the Half Moon Reflector. This modifier provides an even illumination over a background and it’s usually hidden directly behind the subject in the headshot.

Another device is called the Turbo F-16 Spot Projector. It allows the projecting of the unique patterns on a background. All of these modifiers can be easily jolt to create color cast and effects with either square gaskets or cylinder gels.
