Today we are going to talk about importance of the stomach position when we fight. Stomach is your center of gravity. If your stomach is forward and you punch, you have no support behind you. Basically, what happens is a jab and cross. Look what happened. Punch and you can't penetrate because you have no support, the momentum is pushing you back. So keep your stomach in. Right from this position when you punch, see, you have support behind you, so you can penetrate target. Or Centering this across, okay, so you can penetrate and you go with power.
The moment your stomach is going forward again, it's pushing you back, so you are loosing a lot of power. Also when you punch in a kick boxing, when you punch this way, you expose your leg to the attack from your opponent. Again, stomach, keep your stomach in, always in. So no matter what you move, you move around, keep your stomach in. So you punch and you have support.
Another thing, when your stomach is up, it's still possible to do combinations. Again, stomach in, see and you have support.
