Well, the story as Boxing Day thing would be where gifts are given to the poor and needy by those of a higher class.
Boxing Day official began the 19th Century in England under the rule of Queen Victoria.
It was to give thanks to the community for all its efforts throughout the year and service workers where giving gifts.
Now, this gifts where put into boxes for easier transport, hence the name Boxing Day.
In Canada, Boxing Day is a holiday and stores have huge clearance sales.
Now, some people goes as far as sleeping out the night before so they get the deal that they are actually after.
