Steve Watson: If you ever wanted to ask some cork floor and just like this to any room in
your house, you’ve come to the right place and I will tell how it’s done.
First you need some tools you need the chop saw, a nail gun, air
compressor, a speed square, a hammer, some gloves, a tape measure, pair
of fliers, a pencil an of course our flooring. Know exactly how much
material you are going to need then order one bucks and more, you never
know to screw something up unless you’ve got the extra material. The
steps are really simple you can do it yourself. First rip up your carpet, it’s
easier to rip your carpet up to the sections so rip up the corner, take you
mat knife and cut it out in one sheet and roll that up and get that out of
here.
Once you got all the carpet out and you want to remove the padding, after
you remove the padding chances are you are going to remove the couple
staple, you got all the staples up and flip them up then remove your tucks
clip. Now if you remove your tucks clip you want to clean the entire room
then lay down your under lament. After you lay down all you’re under
lament pick a wall to start your pattern. I recommend you pick them most
prominent wall in the room because at the first way you are going to see
whether the room is out of square at all and your pattern will kind of
disappear because a little bit out of square. Run one raw using the click
and locking method, click some locks together very simple, if you place
one row and you go back starting at up, we started the first time and we do
it in other row. After you filled up the room go in and cutting any insert
piece you need to add then you check for seems that you might need to go
tighten up, after tight all those up then you want to add your shoe molding,
your shoe molding will cover any gaps that you might have along the wall
after you added all the your shoe molding clean the room up and bring
your furniture back in and enjoy your new hardwood floor. If you would
