Next I got was the universal pencil with natural. I taught this was a really cool idea and basically you can use this pencil for eyebrows, lips and eye liner. This is $65.50, when you look at it, it is a twister cap and it kind of reminds me of the crème stick liners because it is actually pretty creamy. I tried it and I would not recommend this on your eyebrows because with an eyebrow pencil you need something a little bit more stiff. This was too creamy for the eyebrows; it would not last unless you use Cryo on top. I would use it as a lip liner and as eyeliner if I were going to smudge it. It was a cool idea but I probably would not purchase this again.
I also got a lip-gloss and it is in neon light sunset, it is supposed to be a plumping clause. I have put it on and I do not feel anything green which I usually associate with plumper so no plumping sensation so I do not really think it plumps and the thing I really do not like it is it reminds me of old school lipsticks which my mom used to wear. I do not know if you guys remember a bit the way lipstick used to taste back in the day like really chemically and waxed and I hate the way this lip-gloss tastes and smells. It just reminds of my moms lipstick back in the day and my key is could you throw in maybe a vanilla scent in there or a bubble gum but I will say the color and texture is really, really good.
Next, I got a blush a mineral blush and plummet ammonite. This little brush is $15.00 and it is really tiny so I do not know it is kind of a lot of money for a little blush but it is really cute because obvious tough compacts have mirrors. The color is awesome; I really, really like this color. It looks good on me and actually saw an x package and she is very fair and it looked good on her too so I really like that color and I would buy it again.
Next, we have eye shadow and this is the mineral shadow and chocolate topaz. This is $13.00; it is a little less than that Mac eye shadow which is around the same size and again super cute because it had a little mirror. This is a really great grey color, like a crease color and as you can see the color really, really vibrant, really great. This is what it looks like on my hand that was one swipe I did not even swirl it around so the color is extremely pigmented. In terms of the range of eye shadow color, they have pretty basic colors, there are no like bright, bright colors like in Mac but if you are a neutral kind of girl then this is probably for you.
Next I got 411 press mero make up with SPF 15 which I love again. I love anything that has SPF15 because now that I am getting older, I am getting paranoid about sun damage and wrinkles, so this again has a cute little compact with a sponge and I adore this foundation. Absolutely adore, I have, I used Mac mineralized skin finish natural in medium dark. This is actually also medium dark but this looks way better, it matches my skin better because I think it has a teeny, teeny bit to dark for me and this is the perfect shade I have seen in a really, really long time. The 411-press mill make up is $24.50, which is actually comparable to Mac so it pretty good. I would definitely purchase again, I love this foundation it sinks into my skin and it has a sea moss finish, really, really, really, really good at coverage.
The last face make up I got is the mineral split panforn, 1 mirror glow and mineral light and this is pretty much like a bronzer and a high lighter and they are in a split compact. I like the fact that it has two in one because I am all about saving packaging. This is $22.50 and I will say I actually do really like the glow because it is very natural so I like wearing this when I do not want to look like I am wearing make up. Buy this one and a little bit of glutamine skin cells are really good and lastly we have the brushes.
I wanted to go ahead and get a couple of different brushes because I love make up brushes, I always try to get as many as possible from different brands. I got to brush that first, okay so the brush set, it comes from a little brush case and it has five brushes, five different brushes in it. this is $39.50 which is a very good deal for brushes I know it would be like less than $7.00 per brush so that is a pretty good deal when you think about it. it has like an angle blush brush or comfort brush, it has a powder brush, a regular one and regular eye shadow applicator brush and it has this kind of funky looks like a crazed brush. It is called a utility brush and then it has lip brushes that have a little cap. I washed this brushes and I conditioned them and I will say that this brushes are not the soft as first as I have felt, I was kind of disappointed because I taught they were going to be softer. They almost, they are really, really light weight which I prefer brushes that have a little weight in them because it kind of gives you more leverage and they feel like they are higher quality. These brushes almost seem like brushes that you would find in any gift set kind of, as they were definitely machine manufactured. I do not really like them to be quite honest; the one that I do like is this one because it is kind of different. I will use them but in terms of recommendation, they are not the best brushes out there, they are not the softest. This brush right here is it did not come in a set, it is separate and it is a chisel make up brush sort, supposed to be like a butter brush for the Marnel make up foundation, $22.00.
Honestly, I do not like this brush at all, like the other brushes in the brush, set were okay but I do not like this brush. It is really scratchy and when things are on your face, especially like if it is a face make up, you do not want to scratch or irritate your skin because that leads to other problems so I do not think this is a good brush. I think the company used to work on their brushes a little bit because they are kind of pricey and they are not worth the money.
