This is a brand new project we’re starting here today and we’ve removed the old sod. It got crane fly and was diseased and the ground was prepared well for grass to grow anyway. This is typical Oregon soil here, clay soil, hard as a rock in the summer and so wet in the winter that there is porosity. The water can’t penetrate. So it can't breathe either time.
So what we’re going to do right off the back as far is the soils go is we’re going to bring in organic compost and we’re going to work better organic compost real deeply into the clay soil so that it has porosity and will stay fibrous and loose for many years and for me, I always think when I do that God has to do that in our lives and our world is made of this soil. We’re clay, lack in clay soil there’s lots of minerals. So this tremendous potential but often it’s all bogged down and it’s compacted in the summer or in the winter of our lives.
So what has to happen is soil that has been completely organic matter, things that have living they have been completely decompose and even heated up so that there’s no weed seed in them after we work into the clay soil same in our lives.
There is one who experienced the heat of life to the point where no sin through all that was revealed ever in his life and he lived on this earth and die and his organic life that is available for us but we have to allow that to get more deeply into our lives often to our tears, to deep breaking of our own compacted soil and once that happens all of the minerals and the nutrition that’s in our lives, the potential that we all have can come out because there’s ability for us to breathe. There’s ability for us to drain which has worked. I often think about that because we have to start what’s there just like God has starts with us as we are.
But before he’s done our lives are completely changed and our life is completely intermix with his and things could happen, things can grow fruit and grow out of our lives. The character can come into our lives all because of him.
