Hey! Welcome to watchmojo.com. I am your host Melissa and today we are going to look at Hinduism. I believe among the majority of the people of India. Now, it is the third largest religion in the world with 970 million members is interesting to know that they do not have a single founder, but rather it has been developed over a period of 4,000 years. The sacred text of the Hindus Religion are the Vedas and no one knows the exact data they were written. Suggestions have been made that is somewhere between 600 and 300 BC. There are some who say Hinduism is Trinitarian, because Brahman is a triad that is one God with three people. And, the three people are the Brahman the creator, Shiva the destroyer and Vishnu the preserver.
Hindus organized their lives around certain activities called the four aims of Hinduism. The first is Dharma which is righteousness and their religious life. Then Artha which is success in their economic life, then he we have Kama which is a gratification of the senses and Mokas, the fourth one, which is the liberation from “samsara.”
So there you have it a little introduction to Hinduism.
