Host: Sometimes you hear about these things in the legs especially you take care of Neuromas, what are Neuromas?

Guest: Neuromas are essentially what is known as a pinched nerve. It usually occurs where people wear a shoe that's pressing on the area, primarily women who wear tight fashionable shoes. There are obviously always a genetic predisposition to have this particular situation. So the majority of my patients are men who wear very tight shoes but I would say the majority really are women who just wear their average -- everyday shoes which naturally are fashionable and tight.
