In April of 2000, Curtis 50 Cent Jackson got shot nine times outside his grandmother's house. Then on February 6, 2003, 50 Cent drops, "Get Rich or Die Tryin". The album is instant classic, it solidifies 50 as a hip-hop heavyweight. The album goes on to 7 millions, and brings hip-hop back to where it belongs, on top. 50 Cent goes on to making numerous records alone, with his crew "G-Unit". They also sells stickers, clothes, video games and 50 Cent even stars in his own semi autobiographical movie called "Get Rich or Die Tryin".
