Hey Doc why do we sneeze? Dr. Charlotte Grayson: Good question but I think I've got the answer for this one, sneezing is something all of us do, and it's usually associated with cold or allergy. Its starts us and irritation to the nasal and respiratory passages, which means you might offer sneeze after you inhale something your nose doesn't like, pepper for incidence, here is what happens, your nose since is an invader looking inside, mucus, pollen, pepper it sends an SOS to the brain which activates a violent reflects over response. The result is dramatic, your chest muscle certainly compress your lungs, sending a blast of air rocketing upward, simultaneously the opening between your throat and your mouth slam shut forcing the air to shoot out through the nose, all of these in the company by loud sound that's pretty much the same word in every language Achoo. Sneezing is also a great way to spread germs around. I don't think I need to remind you about your mother always say's cover your mouth before you sneeze.
