Hi I am Sam, I am here with watchmojo.com and we are show casing Yamaha’s feature bike right here. Could you explain to us a little bit?
This bike is in 1900cc engine fuel injection. It is a fully aluminum frame that gives the bike an excellent rigidity, good cornering, excellent braking which we do not see much often in costume bikes. So this one could be called a very sporty bike.
But buying on a sport bike, it is a lot jumpier on the costume bike so the shock is much more accommodating?
Yes, it is way more comfortable and besides that, the riding position especially on this one has got a linear back a little bit on the back so you are not straight cause when your back is very straight, all the impact goes right to your spine and with that position, and your spine can bend.
So this bike really interests me. It looks like an R1 but it is slightly different and if you look at it carefully, you can see that the front of it is a lot straighter than the R1.
Well, we can call that the R1 for the older guys like myself like 40 years old and more, the good thing about it is the riding position is not so radical, it di going to be more comfortable to ride. This thing is very user friendly, a lot of blow and torch. The good thing is that you do not need to be shifting all the time on that thing. You can ride in six gears at 50 km/hour. As you can, going to be doing over 200 km on the same gear. The power band is very long.
Is this as fast as the R1 or are they a little slower?
This thing normally is going to ride along 270 to 175 km/h. there is just an R1 which is limited at 299 so it is pretty fast, I am not recommending anybody to do that but still they can do it.
We are here with my favorite bike of the Yamaha collection which is the R6. I think it is a beautiful bike and I like you to sell this bike to me.
The bike is so light, so nimble, so easy to entering corners. This bike is even faster than an R1 on the track. Now we have a limited slip clutch which is you have to avoid when in blanch, it is very hard to blog the rear wheel. So this is very good when you are driving very aggressively on a race track because you can down shift very hard, drop the clutch and it is not going to log the rear wear. This is out of modification, this use especially on fuel management system, electronic systems and frame of the bike. So it is not things that you can see very much but the bike, it is a beast on the track, I mean it is a damn machine on the track.
