Welcome to the first installment of the third eye and watchmojo.com. The show, where we watch the watcher. I am your host Troy Moore.
You know, someone once said just because you are paranoid, it does not mean that everybody is not out to get you. But when the fine line, providing healthy skepticism from paranoid delusion, is the same one that divides documented of fact, from hypothetical speculation, you have to remember that every empirical fact starts with a hypothesis.
Today, we are here to talk to you about the advance leading up to are resulting from the attacks on September 11.
Essentially, there is a whole movement out there called “The 911 Truth Movement”. It is one that seriously doubts the accounts of the events as portrayed by the main stream media. And it has a little bit of an interesting story, a little bit of an interesting history. It consist of people from all walks of the political spectrum, including leftist, rightist, Helios, conservatives, libertarians, anarchist, greenest, and much, much more. They are not really a club or any membership card carrying movement. It is just an informal and decentralized phenomenon that it convenes mostly to electronic mailing list, regular local support groups, and the occasional national or international convention.
The first book on the event was published at France in 2002. It was written by Thierry Meyssan, the president of the Voltaire Network and he emphasized how pictures of the Pentagon did not quite fit with the cover story portrayed in the media. Shortly afterward, the second book appeared. Also, in France and it focus on Bin Laden’s actual involvement in the whole affair. But it was still in June 2002, when the group unanswered questions convened at the Washington National Press Club and various officials and family members of 911 victims, started demanding a full investigation into the events of this September 11 attacks.
The Bush administration has automatically opposed to such transparency but the march for truth was already there. On January 8, 2002 for example, a rally in San Francisco march on the offices of Senator Dianne Feinstein and demanded a congressional investigation into the events. And these earn the movement a little bit of media attention. The VisionTV was the only main stream media outlets to pick up on the story. And during January and February of 2002, it aired the series called “The Great Deception” where Canadian Journalist Barry Zwicker, not only question the main stream accounts of the 911 tragedy but suggested that by suppressing the air defense system over New York and Washington, elements of theG had deliberately allow the attacks to happen in the first place.
