Hey, it is Vince DelMonte with another video coaching lesson coming to you from YourSixPackQuest.com and today I want to talk to you about why cardio long slow variation cardio is probably the least effective way of loosing body fat. I know that is problem you have raised to believe, you look at a lot of people in the gym who are trying to lose fat, and what are they doing? They are on the bike, they are on the Olympic boulder on the roar and yes, that might be a little piece of the puzzle but there is three problems of long slow cardio.
The first problem is the more that you do the more you become efficient at it. The more efficient you become at it the less calories you burn.
The second problem with it is the more cardio you do eventually especially if you are diet is poor you are going to start stripping muscle off your body and what muscle responsible for. Increasing your metabolism and your goal is to maximize the 24 hours in the day burns as many calories as possible. If you are loosing muscle, you are not maximizing those 24 hours so it going to take, it is almost like taking a boat across the Atlantic Ocean as suppose it is flying first class to cross the Atlantic Ocean. You are not going to get there to your final destination that is for sure.
The third problem with long slow cardio is that you only burn calories during the period of time that you do it so there is no after burn effect and for people at home who do not have a lot of time to workout. Can you afford to workout three hours a week and only burn calories for three hours a week because that is pretty much all you are doing and once you leave the gym your metabolism does not do any more work so you are leaving 23 hours untapped. Using my programs kind of like getting an eight plus studying ten hours a week instead of spreading 20 hours a week, you could do it your way which is totally fine but I am probably guessing it is going to take you way longer supposed to do than the way that I teach it.
