Female: Mid-summer is typically when flowers will show off their true colors and I think we had this garden just in time.
Male: There are quite a few trees and shrubs framing in the flowers. The annuals and perennials get plenty of sun and obviously the excellent care and hard work had paid off.
Female: Well, let’s take a stroll through this floral oasis that’s right in the middle of the city.
Male: Let’s go over here.
We’re moving on now to another garden. This one is dominated by annuals. Aren’t these fantastic? Now, remember, most of the flowers we’re showing you in this yard because they’re annuals have to be planted every year. The owners start seeding them up in this basement in an area of about eight square feet using seeds that cost about $125.00.
Female: In this bed, we’ve got fibrous begonias surrounded by dusty miller, and lobelia. And this just goes to show you the kinds of effects you can get with mass plantings of different varieties. Now, let’s take a look at some of the other beds.
