Hi! This is Mike at Ski Chalet in Arlington, Virginia. Today, we’re talking about choosing the right snowboard equipment for you. In this segment we are going to talk about how to choose boots. There are three basics styles of boots, the first being a traditional lace-up boot as you see has a traditional laces then there’s what’s you call the villa in lieu of the laces this has steel cable that simply pressing the button and crank it to tighten.
The third kind of system is a speed lace speed when you have two handles, one for your upper laces and one for your lower laces. This is simply pull up on the handles and it tightens your boots. The most important thing when your choosing a boots is to make sure you get the right size. Most people wear there street shoes about a size to a half size larger there fit actually are. When you’re wearing a snowboard boot however, you really want you boots to have a firm, snug fit all the way around your foot. So, that’s a quick rundown about how to pick out snowboard boots.
