Learn how to Treat Dry Skin

Hi! I am Syed Amiry. We are at Reston Dermatology & Cosmetic Center in Reston, Virginia. We are talking about how to choose the best over the counter products to rejuvenate your skin. In this segment, we will talk about how to treat dry skin. So we will talk about two products. They are both produced by the La Roche-Posay. One is the La Roche-Posay Toleriane and Riche which has Shea butter, glycerin and squalane. And the second one is the La Roche-Posay Nutritic 5% which has ceramides in it. These are all moisturizing agents. These products can be applied anywhere on the body where you have dry skin and what I suggest to my patients is usually after taking a shower or even wetting the area just a little bit and using the moisturizing cream over on top of it. That way you are locking the moisture and you would feel much better for you as well. In our next segment, we will talk about brown discoloration that is because of the sun exposure or mask of pregnancy or dark under eyes circles.
