(POOR AUDIO)
Hey, what is up? This is Jaxter. Today, I am going to give you lesson three on beatboxing. In this lesson, we are going to talk about sounds. So first sound that we are going talk about is your high hat and in lesson one, we talk about breath in and breathe out sounds. And, in this lesson, we are going to talk about more about mouth placement. How these sounds can be made? So, the high hat is a mouth sounds. I have talked about breath-in sounds, breath-in sounds, the sounds that require no breath well. High hat is a sound that requires no breath but it does require airing your mouth. So in order to make this sound, all you have to do is concentrate on some part of your mouth. And, what you want to do is you want to press your tongue up against the back of your front teeth and then you want to try to breathe out, to create a seal so no air will come out. And, then pull your tongue back a little bit. Kind of like about how you will make a tire deflating sound like (sound) so that is your high hat.
The next sound we are going to make is the clap and a clap, that is made the exact same way but instead of forcing air out you are actually sucking air in. You are not sucking in as in a breath but you are sucking it almost like if you are drinking through a straw and the sound is coming from the side of your mouth and actually come from sucking air through the sound of your teeth. So, you want to do something like, push your side of your tongue against the back side of your teeth and then suck in. I’m sucking in. That is done by first, creating the seal with your teeth and then just pull in the side of your tongue in. You do not have to take a breath or anything. So if you put those two together, you get (sound).
Another way you can do your clap once you get better is that, you could actually flung your tongue out and then push on the both sides inside your teeth (sound) and then (sound).
Alright the third sound I’m going to teach you is your snare drum. And your snare drum is created by making a sound that sounds like (sound). And how you create that is you pierce your lips and you blow out. Control it though, hold it. (Sound) Those are breathe out sounds. (Sound) You have to breathe out. So if you combine that (sound) you could do a combo like that.
The next sound I am going to teach you is a kick. And a kick is almost like a snare drum but it is just a different sound. But how you want to do it is you want to bring your lips into your mouth. And then you want to blow out while holding your lips up there. (sound) So, let us try to put it all together. (beatboxing sound combo).
So there you go, you have your common high hats (sound), your clap (sound), your snare drum (sound), and your kick (sound). With those four sounds. I hope you guys could guess something good going.
