Challenge #16, The Coin Trick.
Marcin Delecki: Here is a good coin trick. Five coins; three quarters, two dimes. Object of this game is, simply end up like this. The only catch is, when you move these coins, you have to move a dime and a quarter together. You can move them anyway you want, but it always has to be dime and a quarter together. So let's recap.
Starting up like this, quarter, dime, quarter, and you want to end up like this, three quarters, two dimes.
Speaker: How many moves?
Marcin Delecki: Within five moves.
Speaker: Five moves.
Marcin Delecki: Five moves. I will give it to you if you can do it in more.
Speaker: You are tough crowd!
Marcin Delecki: As you long as you can get it there, but every time you move this, dime and quarter together. You think you can do it, you want to bet with me? You shouldn't, you are going to lose.

Speaker:The coin trick. Here is the solution.
Marcin Delecki: Here is the solution. Take these two, bring them over. Next two, bring them over. Now take these two and over again, so three times, that's three moves. This space is the key to solving this. I will take these two, and move them into this space. Now leaving this space open, you grab the last two. One more time.
So, one, two, three, four, five. Yeah, love this move. People would be looking, working on it for hours.
