What’s up guys, it is Aaron. I got another video here that, it is a song by Josh Turner, it is called Another Try. Standard tuning, capo is on III fret.
I am only got through the chords and the strumming pattern that I use. You can use the same one if you want, or if you can modify if you like. But, the song when he plays it, whenever I try to cover it and I know myself, I play I little bit faster in this actual song it is because they are any vocal training, so I cannot really hold that ones he does with the deep voice.
But, the Intro is a G which is middle finger III fret first string, pointing finger II fret, middle two open, and then III fret with your ring finger here on the B string, and then on the high E string, your pinky finger is III fret.
[Demonstration]
So, it is G,
[Demonstration]
Then you go to Cadd9, you just take this middle finger you have here on the III fret of the E string which is we call it one, and move it down to the next string, A string on the III fret again. Then your pointer which was on this string, II fret move it down to the third string down II fret. So really, it is the same as G,
[Demonstration]
Which is these top two fingers or the same frets, still third and second when you move it down from the E and A to the A and D string.
[Demonstration]
Look your Cadd9.
[Demonstration]
It is best if you just play the bottom five, but you know, if you play this one, there any
[Demonstration]
You cannot just tell the difference. Then you go to Em which is top string open, pointer finger II fret on the second string here, your A string, and in third string down you D string, put your ring finger III fret
[Demonstration]
And then the fourth chord on the Intro and the Verse is a D
[Demonstration]
That is you try not to play these top two strings because it suppose to sound
[Demonstration]
It is a D.
[Demonstration]
Well, six strings do sound right, so you do not dirge too much well to that if you get in trouble.
But, open-open, open the fourth string up from the top which is your G string, your pointer finger is in II fret. Next string down to you fifth string down. Your ring finger is on the III fret, and on your high E string, last one at the bottom is your middle finger goes on the II fret. So, you have pointer finger here, then your ring finger here, and your middle finger here. So, it feels kind of awkward at first, but you know, it is the best way to play it.
[Demonstration]
That is your D.
So, starts out Intro and here is the strumming pattern and I usually do this.
[Demonstration]
So really, it is just
[Demonstration]
It is a down, up-down, up-down, up-down, up-down, which is really that kind of rhythm.
[Demonstration]
Something you can do with a lot of songs, this included is where you D, you kind of want to give it. No, a kind of extra and I am just a little different sound on it. This is actually on this hi E string while you are strumming your D
[Demonstration]
You can take that ring finger off, so it is either open with your ring finger off or your middle finger, I am sorry, on the II fret like this and your pinky would be free in that D formation if you put your pinky on the III fret just like this.
[Demonstration]
So,
[Demonstration]
It is all work, because all sounds with the D string, a D chord. It is actually, you can strum it, you know
[Demonstration]
Or like.
[Demonstration]
So really if you know, you can strum it.
[Demonstration]
And just practice taking your you know, whether that is open, might take your middle finger off or making on III fret by your pinky and just see if you like the sounds of that and how you like it.
The Verse is the same thing. It is G to Cadd9 to Em to D, and then whatever gets the reasons on bellow, I know by heart that switches to Cadd9 first. So the Chorus, starts the reasons I am alive and that is the Cadd9,
[Demonstration]
Same strumming pattern.
[Demonstration]
It is where next time is back at Cadd9,
[Demonstration]
The Em,
[Demonstration]
And flood whatever gets me another try is C not Cadd9.
[Demonstration
