Hey, what is up guys? It is Aaron. Alright, next one we do is called Beauty in the Breakdown by the Scene Aesthetic. I get a lot of request or this one and I want to do it for some time now.
Alright, you are in standard tuning. There is no capo or anything, so E, A, D, G, B, E, all right? There is kind of a little riff here at the beginning. It is got mix with some picking and some strumming that sounds difficult, but it is really an odd but you guys going to have fun getting this one.
The basic chords you are going to use and this just familiarize yourself is a four, fingered G,
[Demonstration]
And then a Cadd9, just basically the four, fingered G, just move your pointer and little down each of string.
[Demonstration]
So instead of this one, the G, middle finger is on the low E. This time, you are going to move it down,
[Demonstration]
And this is going to be on the A. Alright, those two,
[Demonstration]
Cadd9 to G,
[Demonstration]
And, another chord remember, this is like an Emadd7 or something like that. So, your Em, pointer finger is on the II fret of your A, middle finger is II fret of your D and there is ring and pinky III fret down here on B on high E, alright.
The little riff we are going to do is. But I want you to do is start out, you never going to take these two fingers off. They stay here for good. So, do not even move them or just trying to get that down. Alright, the first little riff, I am going to slow it down and it is going to sound like this.
[Demonstration]
So. first step and second half is like this,
[Demonstration]
Alright, I am going to slow it down for you. Alright, basically, if you think about it, we are going to start out here, and what you are going to do, you will see this in the tab. You will see this in the tab, but you are going to take this pointer finger, and this is all on the D string. You are going to play the D string open.
[Demonstration]
Hammer on the II fret,
[Demonstration]
Play the string below the G open,
[Demonstration]
So, D open hammer on II fret,
[Demonstration]
And G.
[Demonstration]
Play that D again with your fingers on II fret.
[Demonstration]
So,
[Demonstration]
Now, you take your pointer finger off and you play it again,
[Demonstration]
You are going to hammer on,
[Demonstration]
Basically on its own it is playing that,
[Demonstration]
Sliding my finger down,
[Demonstration]
And then pull it down a little bi.
[Demonstration]
So, we are on one pulling down.
[Demonstration]
And you pull down, once you get so far is stood up lay your finger,
[Demonstration]
And slams back in the original place, and that what make it set and now I am breaking it. Alright, so you are going to go D string.
[Demonstration]
Open hammer on II fret, play the G string open.
[Demonstration]
The II fret D,
[Demonstration]
Then, you are going to play the D string open,
[Demonstration]
Hammer on, pull off, and then your third finger, your middle finger sure going to be on the III fret. So, it is actually the whole time. So, you are going to go,
[Demonstration]
And you play this A string, III fret and pull off.
[Demonstration]
And once you pulled it off, you put it right back on,
[Demonstration]
Play it once in the III fret and you strum to Cadd9,
[Demonstration]
And after that strumming, I use the.
[Demonstration]
And then you go,
[Demonstration]
Alright, so, one more time. I am going to take my middle finger off just so it is kind of “noss cluttered beer”, middle finger should be here on the A string III fret the whole time. All right, so you are going to play the D string opened,
[Demonstration]
Hammer on II fret,
[Demonstration]
G string open, and make sure B can start to pick,
[Demonstration]
Not doing on everything down takes like,
[Demonstration]
Make sure if you get your,
[Demonstration]
And you only go to the direction of the next pick. So, if I am going down to the G string assess D string.
[Demonstration]
You want to pick down, and you want to play the G string, you want to pick up because it coming back,
[Demonstration]
B
