What is up guys, It is Aaron again. This is another request; this song is called “Behind Blue Eyes” it was originally done by “The Who”. And then “Limp Bizkit” re-did it so you are in standard tuning, the chords that you start out in, first chords you make is the Em and that is just where this top, the your E string at low E string is open and you have pointer finger 2nd fret, 3rd string down you have middle finger 2nd fret and then open, open, open.
That little first, where the riff is, you use arpeggio. All arpeggio means is you have a chord but instead of strumming it you play strings individually, that is what arpeggiation means. So like this [Demonstration] so all you do is play these four [Demonstration] play it from the top the E, A, D, G four, then you go to the bottom and you come up E, B, G, D so top four [Demonstration] start from the top four [Demonstration] start from the bottom four [Demonstration] B switch to a G and the same thing [Demonstration]. That last note that you end on the G and play that twice so it is going to go [Demonstration] and then from that G you are going to leave that ring finger there, on the 5th string up from the top, which is your B string, and are going to leave that on the 3rd fret and you come from your G. Just a lift up and put your pointer finger, right here where it would be on the D, and nothing is on the highest E string.
So from that G to the D you are going to have open, open, open, pointer finger at 2nd fret, ring finger 3rd fret, open, so from the top, you go [Demonstration]. And you still have that string that you just finished and you hit it again and you go [Demonstration] so you are going, starting on the 3rd string down, you are going, down, down picking is down, down, up, down [Demonstration] but sticking with the numbering that we have been using for all my videos where it is 1-2-3 ,4-5-6, I know it is wrong it is supposed to be 1-2-3-4-5-6 but this way I think it makes it easier as you are picking. So go down to the 3rd string, go [Demonstration] 3-4-5-4-6-5-4-5 [Demonstration] 3-4-5-4-6-5-4-5 you do that twice [Demonstration]. Then you switch to a C at 9 without your pinky, so you have 2nd string down, middle finger 3rd fret, 3rd string from the top pointer finger 2nd fret, open, 5th string down you have your ring finger on 3rd fret, you play [Demonstration] same basically except for that base note. So this time is 2-4-5-4-6-5-4-5 so 2-4-5-4-6 5 4 5 so play it twice [Demonstration]. Then you switch to, it is an A but you are missing, you want to leave the 5th string down and your B string open, so you have open, open, pointer finger 2nd fret, middle finger 2nd fret and from there you play, 3-4-5-4-6-5-4-5 only, no I am sorry, its this [Demonstration] so that is actually 2-3-5-4-6-5-4-5, you play that twice so it is [Demonstration] 2-3-5-4-6-5-4-5 [Demonstration] and then you go right back into the Em again [Demonstration].
And then the strumming, as far strumming goes, there are three chords there is a C, a D without your - with this string open [Demonstration] a D without your middle finger and then a G. So you have, C , [Demonstration] D [Demonstration] to a G [Demonstration] “as my conscience” - C [Demonstration] “seems to be” [Demonstration] “to be”, Am [Demonstration] Am [Demonstration] and then it is, “I have hours” is actually a [Demonstration] that would be a F sharp [Demonstration] “only lonely” back to C [Demonstration] “my love is vengeance”- to D [Demonstration] “never free” [Demonstration] You got a couple measures, you go back to the very beginning [Demonstration]. For some reason those chords that I am strumming do not sound exactly right to me so just make sure that you check the info box for here I will have the correct chords there so I am going to tinker around a little bit with that before I find the right ones, but I am going to have the tab over here in the information box as well and hope this helps.
