What is up guys, it is Aaron. Sorry, I play videos up, knock couple of days out. Been on the road, it is in North Carolina actually. But I am back, got a lot of request that poured in more than ever. So, I am going to try and do maybe five or six tonight.
First that I have got is a new video a little bit ago on the song Broken by Seether Evanessence, and I did not teach the solo on the tab that I have gave you that I had a solo, but to begin to come a request during the one on one in the solos well, then we teach it.
So, now the tabs up with the solo, the tab up in the window, see and look up here and find it.
Now, the actually song is played half step down. My guitar was a standard tuning for the lessons right after this. But, teaching it to you should be the same. So, just learn it, you know, I just taught to teach you and then whenever we play the song, you should remember the guitar to be tuned up half step.
So, the first part of the solo is four parts. They all sort out with the first four parts are actually the same. I want you to do is you got to start this with your pointer finger for the first part of the solo. Now, you play the open E string,
[Demonstration]
The low E, it is the first part sounds like this,
[Demonstration]
See,
[Demonstration]
Got it, so the first part, you have to play this open E,
[Demonstration]
And then you play your A string open.
[Demonstration]
Then two, then on your D string, you are going to play open-two, and then, you got to play the two again (slide) and slide to five, then you are going to play four, this is on the D string, then you are going to play (pull off) four to two, play it just once on four notes, slide down to two, come back up again, (pull off) so do that quick to go,
[Demonstration]
Like that. After that, you are going to play these two-note,
[Demonstration]
Then you want to stretch your ring finger up here to the IV fret of your G string,
[Demonstration]
You play A, then our pinky comes up here and I like go from pointer finger to reach up here easier. Pinky comes up here on the V fret of you B string,
[Demonstration]
Then you get back to that four down with your ring finger still there.
[Demonstration]
Then on a G string, you want to take your ring off and play that II fret.
Demonstration]
Play it again.
[Demonstration]
And hammer on the IV fret, the put four again.
[Demonstration]
So, having find this much lately but I am going to try to play it to you, very -- little quick this time. So, open ,
[Demonstration]
Like that. So, --
[Demonstration]
Like that. The second part, the Intro is the same as far as you go. open E, open II fret A, then open II fret D, play it again, slide to the fifth, there you go. Four, and do the whole four sliding to of course one to two, except F-G that. You are slide them and place VII fret on the D string,
[Demonstration]
Then VII fret on your D string.
[Demonstration]
So, you can do it with your pointer finger on the VII fret A which do this all,
[Demonstration]
And my middle finger down on the G string, you play seven,
[Demonstration]
Down at same G string, four string on the top, you play seven, five, four. Then do that whole, okay.
So, meets the seven, five, four, two, and do the whole two hammer ons to the fourth. So,
[Demonstration]
So, it is sound like this,
[Demonstration]
And then,
[Demonstration]
Just like that. The third part through, same. All four of these is this whole part, this whole beginning,
[Demonstration]
That part is exactly the same and whole way through the first, all four sub sections of the solo.
So then, at third part of the solo, you start the open E,
[Demonstration]
Open A,
[Demonstration]
II fret A,
[Demonstration]
Open second on the D, play with second, slide to the fifth, and then, you are going to go -- you got the four, four, two, four, two, and the third time, you are going to go up on this D string, same string you bet on in your play.
[Demonstration]
Seven, five, two. Then, you are going to play open this B and hi E, they have a barre which we going to go.
[Demonstration]
So, it is just B,
[Demonstration]
E,
[Demonstration]
B,
[Demonstration]
Open, then you go back on the fourth part which is,
[Demonstration]
After do that four, two, four to two, four, to two slide, you come to seven, and you go seven on the D string, then you go seven with the G string, nine with E strings. So whenever I do this, four, two,
[Demonstration]
You can even do this play on second, slide to the second or to seventh, your pointer on D string, that stick your ring finger down, or you can move you pinky down or your pointer finger down if you do not like using your pinky. But I stick my ring to it, middle finger, VII for the E, A, D, G strings. Four strings on top and after you play the seventh here in B string,
[Demonstration]
You play seventh on G, ninth, down to four
[Demonstration]
And then do this whole two.
[Demonstration]
It is that last part sounds like this,
[Demonstration]
Like that. Then like on the one of the lovers that I have found, he is messing around somewhere up here. He is going like,
[Demonstration]
Just sound like that, it is where the Seether guys playing and solo up forth. All he is doing, I think is on the third string down to E string VII fret, and he just play like seven, seven, seven, seven,
[Demonstration]
None.
[Demonstration]
I like seven, nine on the D and seven, nine on the G. But he is messing around. You can create you own kind of rest to it, if there is any modifications to that, you know, have fun with it. Just mess around with it.
There is also ways that you can find and I might not throw in to make it easier for you. So, just have fun with it.
If you like the solo, check out the actual video that I did for the real song and so hope it helps you guys. Thanks and see you.
