What is up guys? This next one -- I guess, you said this is kind of inappropriate but the song is called Nymphomaniac, by a guy named Jason Boland & the Stragglers.
I have never heard them before but it is pretty funny song. It is standard tuning the first verse goes G to C to D to G. And the lyrics are pretty funny but so long as I am not going play the song, I do not like it but I am going to cut our lesson. So, we start on G, the first verse and the last verse needs one strum. It sounds like --
[Demo]
“Well welcome everybody to Willies place,” and C. “You can pull up a chair or you can really rest yourself.” And it starts again like there is one more strum. “You got everything” to C, to D, to G. And then you start strumming. And the chorus goes G, to C, to D, to G. Second verse then back to G, C, D, G.
So, that is what the entire song is and he kind does bang. I think -- that I am not sure but he does like pluck one until play one G, put the finger on and go --
[Demo]
So, all I do there is I will play one strum. You know what makes it easier if it is an up strum. It is easier to go --
[Demo]
Put your fingers on it and your arm --. So, you come up strum then lay your hands where I make a quick note and then go --
[Demo]
So, up, get around the strings then go --
[Demo]
Or you go down, up. So, --
[Demo]
It is all up to you but I think just one strum meets it then two strums meets it again. Then it goes to the next chords.
[Demo]
Something like that but the rest of the chords and the tab is going to be up here.
So, I hope that helped and it is a short video but this is a pretty simple song. You just use the same four chords all the time and you just kind to get that -- the hold, the slapping down. So, good luck. Thanks.
