Hey guys. What’s up? It’s Aaron. This one is “Sorry” of Buckcherry. I have been getting a lot of request for it in the past.
I am going to teach you. There is really kind of a little thing you could do at the beginning, but I am going to teach you the chords. I am going to teach you open position chords [Demonstration] I do not think they are easier to play on acoustic. Bar chords also, you know, thumb if you are playing G. But if I teach you to play G like this, you know, [Demonstration] open position [Demonstration] you can always play this with a bar [Demonstration]. If you do not know what are the bar chords, somewhere in my videos, I had two videos on how bar chords work, how they move up the neck E, F, G, A and stuff like that is how bar chords work. So check that out if you have any interests in the bar chords, if not, here is how this goes.
For the intro, it sounds like this [Demonstration]. Alright, what I want you to do is that I want you to put your middle finger on the E string [Demonstration] while we top it on the 3rd fret and then put your ring finger on your B strings, you will knock your bottom if you are not going up to the bottom. So your bottom of your high E and the second one off the bottom [Demonstration] and then put your finger on the 3rd fret. In this one, your G string [Demonstration] which is this one [Demonstration] you are going to have your fingers going to be on it. It is going to be awesome at first and the second set that I am picking is going to be on the 2nd fret [Demonstration]. So you are going to take your thumb and pick at the low E, top string. Pointer fingers, you need to pick in the G sting and your middle is going to be picking the B.
Alright. So first, you are going to start of with just two fingers on, the middle finger below E 3rd fret and the ring B string 3rd fret and then you are going to slide your thumb on the E, pointer on the G, and the middle on the B [Demonstration] you can play it all three at the same time [Demonstration] I used to play it all three at the same time with the first B [Demonstration] and then play the base [Demonstration] so it is just like. Some of you would play [Demonstration] well, I play with all three. And then, you are going to put your pointer finger down on the second fret right here. The second fret on your G string, and then you are going to play it again. [Demonstration] I still play the same three strings. So, if you look at my hand, I am taking the same [Demonstration]. So, I am playing all three, top, bottom two and then I am playing top. So all three, top, bottom and then I am going to play the bass again, then play all three together, base note [Demonstration] 1-2 [Demonstration] a base note [Demonstration]. See if I play all those three [Demonstration].
So what my fingers are doing between those sets, the only difference on it is your pointer finger is off the 1st [Demonstration] see it is off this one [Demonstration] and it is on [Demonstration] can you hear the difference? [Demonstration] that is the lift off [Demonstration] see then you wanted to [Demonstration] off one [Demonstration] off, on.
Alright so that is the intro, just [Demonstration] we are going to slow it down really soft [Demonstration] C [Demonstration]. Alright then, the rest that I am going to teach you is just chords. Anywhere like I said, I will teach you open, you can always play in bar chord if you want. But the verses G is to go [Demonstration] and the strum pattern, you just use down, up C down, down [Demonstration] I am going down G switch to D [Demonstration] I was going down [Demonstration] and going down [Demonstration] and going down [Demonstration] down, up, down, up, down. Alright, so the verse goes G major to D “I was thinking my time” G to D so this just goes G-D-G-D-G-D instead of strumming that because that is where you are going to be playing this whole thing. We will be going to be playing this whole thing [Demonstration] “So I love to say” [Demonstration] “I was thinking my time away blah, blah, blah”.
The pre chorus, “Because everything inside it
