Hey guys, what is up, it is Aaron. This one here I have been getting a lot of request for sacrifice, and I will do it. So you guys are quite complaining I am kidding, but since 12 Stairway to Heaven by Led Zeppelin.
So, I have a really good tab here that I am not going to look at right now but actually, hopefully this is not too close. What I am going to do is I am going to walk you through the steps.
The first part, I want you to take your pointer finger barre across the fifth fret. It is in tuning, okay good enough I guess. Alright fifth fret take your pointer finger barre across the bottom four strings. So, your D, G, B, and E in a barre across, alright.
Then you want to take your ring finger here and you want to put on the seventh fret of your D string, so right here. And then what you are going to do is you are going to play the chord formation you are going to go from this one. The first one is going to be the barre across the bottom five strings or bottom four strings and this ring finger on the seventh then after you play this.
[Demonstration]
Which that goes, you are playing the D and a high E together. So D and high E then B, G.
[Demonstration]
D and high E and B, G then you are going to take that ring finger pick it up, put your middle finger down when that D string to about sixth fret and then take your ring finger move it down to the seventh fret of the high E and you are going to play D and G again or I am sorry D and E again.
[Demonstration]
D, B, so D and E, B, G.
[Demonstration]
Alright, so from beginning this ring finger get the barre across five strings, fifth fret bottom four strings then you have your ring on the seventh fret of that D string. You are going to play the D and high E then B, G then you are going to put a high E again then switch toward that ring is now on the seventh fret of the high E and your middle is now on the sixth fret of your D and you are going to play the D and high E then B, G and your high E again.
[Demonstration]
Then put your pinky down the eight fret then this other one you just say it just have the barre across the bottom fourth string and pinky on the eight fret and you are going to play the D again and high E, B, G and the high E again and slide down to a D formation. This D formation, you are going to play the same kind of picking pattern and you are going to play the D and high E then B, G, then you are going to play the high E again, switch to this which is kind of an F sort of it but when you are going to use your pointer finger it is going to be on the first fret of your B string, your middle finger is on the second fret of your G string and your ring is going to be on the third fret your D string and with this then you are going to play the same fourth is right again you are going to play the D and a high E. Alright, so you are going to play D and high E then B, G.
[Demonstration]
Alright, I play D and high E and then B, G, D, high E, B again, and then you do not wan to strum this part of -- you want to pick it. So what you are going to do is really this third string you pick it there at the end or just the A string your second string from the top and then also your G and B string. So the fourth and fifth down from the top and the first thing you are going to have you are going to start up it is actually it is an E Minor but one pick. So you are going to put your -- the really only thing that you have is a no finger or nay finger here on the second fret of the A string then you pick the A string, the G and B then you are going to your A Minor, you pick those same strings twice you go.
[Demonstration]
Alright, then you are going to do this whole thing it is just like --
[Demonstration]
So it is ones on the second fret. I suggest you use your ring finger just because it makes easier when you go to get back to the beginning part against the pointer finger barre on the fifth. So on your A string second fret put your ring finger and play up to eight and seventh fret.
[Demonstration]
That play two, two again slide eight, seven, and just play two, eight, seven then right back in the beginning part again.
[Demonstration]
So you play that part twice, alright. The tabs we are going to give for this to it so check out the tabs too. Then the second part of that little intro is --
[Demonstration]
Something like that I do not know. Its all it have I have to look to slide in it is long sure a man it comes, you can kind of look at the tab and kind to follow actually I want to screw down try and figure it out real quick.
Alright, so this next part we are going to do is actually you are going to be walking at up so I like to call it up to A string you are going to play open then second fret of your middle finger, third from A with your ring and then you want to go right into a C formation where you -- after you put a second fret on A and go to third with your ring and middle finger goes down to the D string second fret, pointer finger is on the first fret of your B string.
So, open two, three then you are going to pick down the D, G, B. So, --
[Demonstration]
Okay, so open two, three and D, G, B and switch to a D chord and you are going to play the D and a high E and the B, G.
[Demonstration]
From the top.
[Demonstration]
Alright, so I am sorry kind a playing do the self and going down those kind going on my head. So you are going to go on the A string open two, three then you are going to play the D, G, high E then go in to a D, high E open then go into a D chord and play the D and high E, B, G, play the high E the high E again.
So just kind a like the intro that is you are going to play, you are going to play D and high E, G, B, high E then switch to this little F which we did earlier and you are going to go D and high E, G, B let us see.
[Demonstration]
Yes, so D and G, D, G, D, high E, B, G, then --
[Demonstration]
And it starts over walking out.
[Demonstration]
It is nice, that is the first part of that little thing. The second part of that -- the whole beginning is actually the same it just goes.
[Demonstration]
And then it is like G, it is like -- I will play a G then a D and pull off pinky of the third fret of the high E.
[Demonstration]
And strum two more times so G, switch to D with your pinky on the third fret, play it once play it again and pull that pinky off and strum it two more times juts regular beat.
So, that gives us all the way actually to the end of the intro. Sorry about this I am just kind of looking through.
[Demonstration]
Okay, that is the end of that then at one more part before you get to the verse and it goes walking up again on the A string one, two, three, the same thing with the D, same thing at the F and there walking up this time you go.
[Demonstration]
And at the D and then you just strum this F chord three times.
