Hey guys, it is Aaron again trying to get this camera set up right here. Alright this song is by Lifehouse it is called You and Me. The song I felt pretty good to have for, it sounds pretty accurate but the song is really pretty simple, just a little bit of variations of your fingers.
The intro in the verse is made up of seven chords there is a G start out in a G and the way it goes is I am going to play before it goes.
[Demonstration]
Alright, so that is how it starts and I want really we are going to do is start with the G, if you guys do not know a G chords is middle finger on the E sort of low E note finger third fret and second is down you’re a string and pointer finger second, low to open, bottom to ring and pinky. So you are going to go.
[Demonstration]
Got it, so you are going to down, up down and change, up, down and change, up, down and change, up, down and change, up, down and change, up, down and change and then up, down a little bit let us see , up, down and down.
Alright, so you are going to do the first thing you go down, up, down and change, up, down and change, up, down and change when your done the change is a down strum on your chord.
So, starting at G, the first is we are going to start with we are going down, up, down, up and what you are going to do is go down to the C9.
[Demonstration]
Alright, it is going to go C9 you just take this two finger that you have on your E and A and move down on your A and D. So it is moving down one string.
[Demonstration]
Next we are going to go it is called G flat F# and leave these two fingers at the bottom the same and you put pointer finger here on the second fret. So from there you go and just go from the second fret of the E string to the second fret of the A string. So the pointer finger down one string, two, so start from the top you have G.
[Demonstration]
From that G/B which is what this is, you are going to go the Em7 where you slide up pointer finger stick your middle finger down on the third string down your D string second fret and then you are going to take your pointer finger back up here where it was on the E string second fret, take your middle finger and put on your D string second fret.
[Demonstration]
From there, you go back to C9 when you go to the C9 which is the second chord did, you are going to start it with your pointer finger off the second fret of your E string and you are going to strum it and then put your pointer finger on.
[Demonstration]
So you go G and C9.
[Demonstration]
Alright, and that is what the intro goes same as in the verse the same thing. What day is it -- G.
[Demonstration]
I am sorry, it is like that. That is same with the whole verse when you get to the chorus “cause it is you and me” that is a G.
[Demonstration]
To an A subs which you just take you leave these two middle for these two here on the D and A strings on third fret and take your pointer finger third string down the second fret. So have a G, lift these two top fingers off, put your pointer finger third string down the second fret and play that and in to the C2 so you take that point, you take actually that is a C9. So, it go to this like in C9.
[Demonstration]
So the Em7, to this G, Em7, to the D subs where your pointer finger is on the E second fret and your middle finger is in second fret of your G string.
[Demonstration]
Alright, that is the chord, the bridge is a Bm so it goes.
[Demonstration]
“Something about you now” G “I cannot quite” because the D without middle finger. “I can’t quite figure out” Em7 then “everything you do is wonderful” Am “and everything she does is beautiful” back to D and then you go back to Bm “everything she does is right.” The barre chord the Bm in a barre on the second fret calls all like strings, no finger here on the second string up and from the bottom which is actually B string of third fret middle finger and then you take your ring finger and pinky put on the fourth fret of your D and G and you try to mute these, you go.
[Demonstration]
So that is what you play at the beginning of “something about you”
