Female: Now, this question is a little unusual.
Male: Okay.
Female: A lot of people ask what should you do if you want to be a model. I want to know what you should not do.
Male: What you should not do.
Female: What should you not do?
Male: You should not be unprofessional. You should not, when someone is giving you criticisms, you should not lash back at them. You should be able to take the criticism and learn with it. You should not listen to everybody else cause everybody else has their own experiences, every else there has their own trials and tribulations as far as becoming a model. Another thing you should not do, you should not wait in the wing and wait for somebody else to do the work for you. You need to stage your craving to do your homework. You need to keep your eyes and ears open at all times.
Female: Okay, and now, what should you do?
Male: What should you do is you do your homework.
Female: Okay.
Male: You should network, networking is good. Network with other models and initially not just models but stylist, designers, make up artist.
Female: Get to know everyone.
Male: Hairstylist, the channel hood. Get to know everyone so that way you have a good amount of people under your belt that can support you and you can support them. And that is the big thing about this whole fashion industry especially here in Baltimore, is a lack of camaraderie, it is a lack of people sticking together, a lot people collaborating and I think it involves a lot people’s prides, a lot of whom will think they will try to step on each others toes and I think that if everybody comes together especially here in Baltimore, then we could make a really big message here and really put the fashion industry on the map and I am going make a purpose for myself as I continue to stay here to make that happen. To make sure that I collaborate with a lot of people and pass and say hey I am a stylist you are a photograph, you are a designer, let us make things happen, let us work together and work this out.
Female: Right.
