Coral Ridge Ministries presents Learn to Discern, with John
Rabe.
Presidential candidate, John McCain, and Barack Obama, will finally make a joint appearance on August 16th, when they join Rick Warren at Saddleback Church in Southern California for Civic Forum.
Warren a best selling author and pastor of the 22,000 member congregation, will host the two hour event, and post the questions.
He said, he plans to ask about pressing matters, such as poverty, HIV/aids, climate change, and human rights that is all quite fashionable but what about other clear moral issues that are important to bible believing Christians like protecting marriage, right to life, and religious freedom. Should not the candidates be asking about those key areas as well?
To do that, Coral Ridge Ministries is seeking its own meeting with the candidates. We just have watched the petition campaign, asking Senators Obama and McCain to meet with Jennifer Kennedy Cassidy, daughter of the late Dr. D. James Kennedy and also with Dr. Jerry Newcombe, the coauthor with Dr. Kennedy of “How would Jesus vote?”
