Thanks for this recipe. I had it for the first time on Saturday and I LOVE it. I had it with chicken kabobs that a Lebanese restaurant prepared. Delicious!

THE PROBLEM MOST PPL ARE AFRAID OF IS RAW EGGS AND SALMONELLA? There are many recipes that call for raw eggs...I heard if you dip your egg in shell in diluted bleach water, it kills the salmonella since apparently salmonella is on the outer shell...but I am afraid to try raw eggs, not sure if there something else we can use like flour or corn starch to thicken it? But you must be careful and find out if your eggs possibly have salmonella...Cooked eggs are fine, maybe organic do not have salmonella, ask your organic grocer if they are safe from it before eating raw... Hollandie :-)

you can use pasteurized eggs if you are worried about the salmonella, but also you can omit the eggs all together and use lemon juice, garlic, oil and salt.

If you eat mayonnaise you eat raw eggs... if you eat aioli you eat raw eggs...
