Hey guys, Snow Leopard today. Today I'm unboxing of the Lenovo S10. I actually called about a Lenovo IdealPad S10, it’s a netbook and most netbooks nowadays have they feature the Intel Atom processor. I'm not sure of the exact specs of this particular model in this machine but let's go open it up.
So I have a knife here. Now I got a big knife that other people use but the little knife—and you see that I don’t need it so I open away I've cut this open. Yeah, I bought it from—which is a good place to buy tech products.
Okay, so I open it. Okay, the black color it's not actually mine, it’s my dad’s he got it for his company so here. First you get the little black box says Lenovo on it and imagine it to be—oops! There you go. Power adapter, power brick, put it aside, power cable, put it aside, the battery. There's something else inside of—yeah there's nothing else and this is I think the three cell battery. It can't be six cell, yeah three cells.
Go to side two and the actual netbook itself. I'll get to that stuff in a moment. This seal is really good actually this is one of the netbook’s that actually kind of has like. You know the other netbook they just lack in quality or design or something. Let's open it up. Here's what it look likes the keyboard give it a closer shot. And then here's the panel, looks pretty it looks actually like a real good solid netbook.
It looks like Apple will make it, snap together real nice too. Oh it’s kind of—me. The button don’t feel that cheap, have nice click to it of course the Intel Atom use Window XP ideal pad. Let's go over to ports without plugging the battery in. This is a—I'm not sure what that is but maybe a 3G card I don’t know. All right, so the headphone, microphone, USB, Ethernet—. The actually smart Lenovo they put the lock in the hinge so to save space. This is the battery I'll put it in right now.
There you go. Okay, so let's open it up again the other side ports this is the fan, the VGA, I think this little hole is the adapter, the USB slot, card reader and the other USB port. There's only two on this model but it’s good enough and I think there's some little life here that light up and this entire bar here is a grill for the speakers. Really nice design. I might actually get one of this myself. So let's power this thing up let see if it has charged.
So power button right here—you could see my head. It runs Windows XP let me just check the specs real fast. While it’s starting booting out it has, doesn’t say. That was 512 megabytes of RAM, 80 gigabytes hard drive, I have a webcam, I have 10.2-inch screen. The Atom processor I think is 1.6 gigahertz.
Okay wait for that to boot up a bit, I think it has a nice sound, it’s a very nice sound for a low kind netbook like this. The keyboard build is really great, you feel that something I would use not a novelty and if I was right there were lights here. Yeah, it’s mainly battery, power and WiFi. And you can hear from the sound I don’t know if the sound from here to my camera have—that well but if the sound quality from my ear is pretty good. Nice design, very solid, very sturdy, it’s pretty good let me turn it off.
There you go, okay so it feels really, really steady really nice. It’s kind of heavy well it has to be but it’s okay. It feels looks really nice here the top you can see here it’s really—I left the store I swear but here at the side, the front you can see the whole thing other side, there you go. The back and the bottom, the bottom is pretty back actually it looks pretty different—yeah.
All right, so that’s the Lenovo S10 and the other stuff inside the box as you can see whether it was just too something and set up poster, blah, blah, it just some documentation. So yeah, that’s the Lenovo S10 thanks for watching the video. It’s a really nice laptop I might review, I might not if defense on if I have still have still about at the—I still have it my dad probably will use it for work, so you probably will take it but if I do get it back but you don’t want to have a small peak at it and let me do a review—I will so thanks for watching the video Snow Leopard here and I have a dozen videos, unboxing a printer coming up this weekend too so stay tuned. Bye.
