So, this is kind of give you a ball park or some of the application that are out there that you can get for Linux replacement for Office. There is OpenOffice, and OpenOffice again comes with the word processor called Write. There is spreadsheet called CALC. A presentation software package called Impress. There is a database that basically the same thing as access called Band. And then there is a drawing program called Draw. So all of that is included in the OpenOffice, so you have a word process, spreadsheet, database presentation, application, there is a drawing program and there is even I think something very similar to Solver that comes with it. So that is all part of OpenOffice. Absolutely free, most of the time it comes free installed with your distribution of Linux.
There is evolution for Outlook and that supports pop email, IMAP, what we call LDAP, which is lightweight directory. There is CalDAV, which is an open source in standard def way of doing things with calendaring and that sort of thing. And then, there is a connector for exchange so you can use it for exchange calendars, contacts, emails and so forth. There is an open source counting application, I believe it is called new cash, GnuCash very similar to Quicken and how it works. I can read and import your Quicken files, QIO files and OFX files or QFX files and we brought in to it.
And I think there are two versions of it and one is more of like QuickBooks versus Quicken. There is a replacement for publisher if you like in use Microsoft Publisher, there is a program called Scribus that kind it does the same exact thing. For instant messaging, there is a product called Pigeon, which Pigeon allows you to use different protocols and instant messaging protocols, so that is AOL or what they called America Online instant messaging. There is ICQ, Google, MSN and Yahoo, all those are covered with Pigeon.
Great utilities, I happen to be a big fan of Nero. Some people cannot stand it. I happen to like it but Nero 8 is fairly expensive on XP, well Linux has a free version of Nero but it called K3B. We can alter, create, burn DVDs, data DVD, CDs, etcetera, all of that. It is very functionally equivalent to Nero Version 8. So, we are talking about saving a whole lot of money, prolonging the life of existing hardware and you do not have to cough up these fees to Microsoft or --
