I think what she was trying to say was that there is very little difference between the best DJs and the best Bands (I should disclose I'm a professional DJ). The Best DJs and Bands will understand how to keep your Reception moving. The Best DJs and Bands wont even consider working with you without first going over your plan (or assisting you in creating your plan) for the Reception. The Best DJs and Bands will ensure seemingly small details (like how to pronounce ALL the names of the bridal party/parents/childr en) are noted. The Best Bands will have a plan for what to do during band breaks - NOT AN ISSUE FOR DJs :) The Best DJs and Bands will have a plan for how to make every event in your Reception special.
