We are going to be doing the one, four, five chord progression, try to make a hip-hop beat with that so you have logic pro and simple things so you would see the keys that are played.
We will do it from scratch, so this is also kind of like a hip-hop beat making tutorial. I got an ultra beat drum machine loaded up here. I got my kick loaded in this one, I used a little light going right there, a snare right there and pull the hi-hat real quick with the shaker, and actually I do not go with the shaker, the metal shaker.
This is for your cats with your logic pro so you know make hip-hop beats pretty good, pretty good ones too. A little bit of clap too in there, lately it is like you got to have a clap on your hip-hop beat and this is how it is. We got a wide variety of claps here to use. Just make sure it blends well with your snare, if it does not blend perfectly and you want to sound a little crispier, ultra beat does EQ on every.
There we go and that is looking good and ultra beat has EQ on every sample that you can design to each section here. So we switch section to the different EQ settings and go back up here, go back up to there, you can see I got the highest boost again. Okay, so I am on my way down the foundation drum beat, here we go.
And change the loop size here and I am going to have the shaker.
And of course I do not have timing correct on either those times so that we can go ahead and apply that.
Same as hands, see what is like I can bought from then changing the contrast’s value and if you have no ration selected and you change the contrast’s value, it will automatically apply that to you every new and quarter region, a little tip to know. So, we need those two tracks, let is rearrange tracks for the ultra beat and I got sample thing loaded up. If I pull up the pianos and it is going to be kind of like that piano style beat here, those one are nice, it is kind of big, I assume to stop it now.
