Today, I am going to watch and show you and review the Logitech X540 speakers, which I bought about two years ago for £79. About $120.00 out of so and $140.00 maybe, I don’t know, it might probably changed by now.
Anyway and what I’ve got today is Terminate Salvation trailer in surround sounds so that you might not be able to tell actually. So that you should be able to hear as well as my mic can pick up and how well this does in films and also a song by the Chemical Brothers called Setting Sun, which has base and ties, and everything, which I’ve, chose for this.
Okay then, what I am going to do now though is tell you exactly how I think the speakers are. These speakers are pretty much excellent for the price; price is only about £80, which is not actually very much as I would set for speakers especially surround sounds which 5.1, which means it, has six speakers for that much. It means that they can be the best quality.
Although these really do make these best qualities you can get out of the best money I think and what they have is two drivers in each speaker. And I will show you that now. There you go; two drivers in each speaker, although they are the same size, ones is not like a twitter or once a mid range or anything.
I’ve got one behind as well. So this means that the mid range—the mid range is an excellent but I think that it does well for how small the drivers are and then there is sub woofer down on the floor. That you probably can’t see, its like is behind my computer, which doesn’t really matter because the sub woofer isn’t going in any place in the room really, and it’s probably the best not to put in the corner. Because today checks who are very, very much experts in sound say not put them on the corner and let’s put them like underneath your screen if possible which I think I’ve done as much as I could.
Okay then, so I am going to turn my camera around to the screen. So as you can see now, I have a screen and the microphone which is recording right now. So I should overlay that over the top, so that you can hear hopefully better quality that in this Pico because it’s not very good on the camera.
Right, I’ll go to the trailer first which is in high definition which you won’t be able to see on YouTube. I’ll try in full screen now first. Oh we’re going to have it on this Essential Laptop. The base is really strong even though it’s only at about third.
And the dialog sounds very natural and the surround sound really brings it to life as you can hear everything. There we go. That is just the trailer that I had downloaded from Apple which I think sounds amazing on these speakers especially for the price as I’m going to keep saying and I’ve also got the Setting Sun song by the Chemical Brothers to show you how it sounds.
This is mostly high mid range and it sounds excellent, although when the base takes in, we have the lower mid range merge into the base, meaning that that song doesn’t sound as perfect as it does on proper hi-fi speakers.
Then when that real beat database takes in, it can really fail the flow moving and it really goes out to the music a bit. Other surrounds sound even though you’re not there, it will be great for music. I really like it. It makes you feel like you are there in the recording studio or maybe not with this music but anyway, we have the high pitch going through very well, which sounds like they are really involved even though they aren’t. Although the mid range isn’t as perfect doesn’t always say. The database is about as loud as the higher up base, which is a—usually quite hard to do because it requires a lot of pitch noise than a very long—
