In March 2008, five months before her 50th birthday, one of the most successful women in the history of popular music was inducted into the American Rock and Roll Hall of Fame, Madonna Louise Veronica Ciccone or Madonna as she is known of course the entire planet as an incredible list of accomplishments to her name.
During her career that began with the dance hit ‘Everybody’ in 1982, she has sold over 200 million albums world wide. Madonna’s indefectible personality and fierce and ambition are her trade marks.
Madonna: I take my inspiration from everywhere, up. In this record in particular I was inspired by the music of Georgio Morotor, Abba, Sheik, Pet Shop Boys, Chirone and I think—I mean lots of other people but hose were the main inspirations that I guess most of those artists are European so maybe that. Maybe that’s what you think about.
But it’s jut not other artist who inspire and influence Madonna, her work is effused with references, the sexuality, religion and politics and her outspokenness from an apologetic reviewer and extraordinary musician mean that throughout her career and her records and videos have—public and critics. She is now the mother of three children. Never shy of sharing her self with the public, Madonna ‘Sex’ book and the older biographic nature of some of her lyrics haven’t been the only regulatory aspects of her career. In 1991, there was Truth or Dare, a film by Alek Keshishian documenting her of the long end ambition to it and in 2005, she released her second documentary called I’m Going To Tell You a Secret. Directed by Jonas Åkerlund, it debuted on MTV, followed the course of the 2004 Reinvention World Tour. And in this berg of assuming the mantle of the Eldest States Woman of Pop in her mid 40s.
