Today I am going to teach a real simple coin vanish using a half dollar. What this is going to look like, is you are going to put it in your hand, show them your hand like so. Then next that I am going to do is snap your fingers and that coin is non – now, how is that done?
What I have here is neurogometric side work. This coin, it is actually made of metal so a magnet can attract it and if you look here under my sleeve, I got a heavy duty magnet. What that is going to be basically do is look, see that? And then to cover the motion, see right there, it is gone, no coin.
What you can also do with this is you are going to put the coin, this coin actually has a magnet inside of it too so, you are going to flip the coin so with the cover, and you can do this with the spectators hand, you are going to act like you are doing it yourself. It is really helpful. So you put in the hand like so, show them that it is empty, vanish it.
So you take the magnet, so what I am going to now is then, vanished. And there it is. Got it? Really simple could you?
Just a – then you can vanish magnets in you really, this is a big enough to work with. And I hope you like that. Another one that magicians like to do is a – take this penny for example. Se that, okay, what I would like to do is I will put it ion my hand like so, show them your hands, empty, and I will just their hand over it and it change into a dime, see?
Same thing with before, another gimmick, what this is called the metal shin and the penny is actually hollowed out to fit the dime inside of it. Because it is made out of metal, the magnet then of course attract it, see?
So I cover my hand and wave over it, it changed and the penny shin is stuck to my sleeve.
Here is some card things that I am going to teach you a trick or so. You can use an old deck of playing cards, it is really is an udder. So basically start with spectator choosing a card. Let us say that he has choose is right here, the jack of diamonds. If you take that jack, let us say this jack was not their card but you are like was this your card and they will say no and you are going to take your hand or like so and all soon it becomes their card.
How is it done? I am going to show you one more coins. Show your card, like this four of clubs, just wave and it changed. How is it done, trick so, really do is I picked up 2 cards as one, see that? Two cards as one, so you pick up two cards as one and drop it, flash the deck, now what is going to happen here, I will cover, it is all that is, see?
The card, your middle finger is going to pull down those cards like so, and so when I cover this hands, you really cannot se it, see it might there, I have that. And what I am going to do is I am going to push, you are going to push, bring it around and then squab the cards.
