Hey world, my name is Dan Brown and today, I am going to teach you some really easy card magic.

This is a totally shuffled deck of cards. Now, what I want you to do is pick any card, it really does not matter. I am not looking at the cards, you cannot see. Okay, you want this card, this card? I cannot see it. You can see it, I cannot see it.
Now, what I am going to ask you to do is set the card on top of the deck okay, just like this. I have not seen the card at all. Now, I want you to cut the deck once, anywhere it does not matter, right here? Okay great. Cut the deck now, you can go ahead and cut it again if you want, do you want to cut it again? Okay, right there alright. So it is sufficient to say that your card is somewhere randomly in those deck and I really have no idea where.
What I am going to do is I can, by feeling top card. I can tell you if it is your card okay. This one is a no.

No, no, no, no. Okay, right this is your card. This next card is your card, you want to feel it? Feel it, does that not just feel like your card? No, you probably cannot feel it and the rest of you but let us see, is that your card? Is your card the five of heart?
This card trick as it is three with all of my card tricks is very easy to perform. Start it with just a shuffle deck of cards and let your audience just take any card they want, this is absolutely a free choice. Let us say, this card. We will sneak a peak at it so that we know but normally you would not and it does not matter. The seven of spades, okay. Then what I want you to do is; as they are looking at their card and memorizing it, you just have to catch a glance at this card at the bottom, the seven of diamonds okay. For a little while here, you will not have to touch the deck at all, say to them go ahead and put your card on top and then allow them to cut the deck anywhere they want.
What this does is there, seven of spades which is on top will no matter how they cut it will be directly underneath the seven of diamonds. They can cut it again if they want, 99 times out a hundred they will not cut it in the exact same place that they just did so you pretty much guarantee not to have this messed up. So the card is there randomly but we know that their card is right after the seven of diamonds so all you do is use a little bit of your drama skills and say, “No, this card is not yours’ and you go ahead and fill all the cards.
I am just going to go through this quickly until we get to the trick card. There, this is the card that we glanced at the bottom so we know the next card is theirs. Use a little bit of your acting skills here like I did when I was showing you the trick and say, “Oh, this card feels like your card, try and go ahead and feel that.” Does that not feel like your card? And they should be amazed to see that you have predicted where their card is. That is the trick.
