Hello! Tim, Tricks in Motion is my stage name. This is how you create the illusion of catching candy and placing them in the brown bag. The brown bag has been prepared with the candy, concealed behind the inner bag. You have to be able to snap your fingers just like that, that makes the noise in using your index finger and thumb. Its typically how, a snapping sound is made but sounds great when you hold the bag and you do this from behind. And so when it’s facing the audience they can’t see this action, they hear the noise, but they don’t see it. It’s behind the bag. So as I -- with the other hand gestured grabbing a piece of candy throwing it up. I make that noise, you hear it rattle and maybe even to a -- that kind of move as if I’m receiving the candy, you hear it rattle as if I caught it. And if I turn this is what it looks like. This is the other side towards me that the audience can’t see, you grab and throw up, and you click your fingers, snap your fingers, snap your finger and practice doing that and then place it behind the bag.
Again, grabbing pieces, throwing them up, maybe being fancy, grabbing a piece there, throwing it behind your back because you're such a good catch. Grabbing from peoples hands or ears a piece of candy, pretending to drop the piece of candy, looks like its really there. You go to get it, throw it up again, give that snap sound that you don’t show anybody because its here facing this way. they only see the front, grabbing, throwing and then when you’ve done that several times, you’ve accumulated, gathered a lot of candy, you want now -- show, hey, I say some magic words, its now gone again. When it -- just like originally it was empty but then you can choose to whenever you want -- maybe grab some more, get creative, make the snapping sound, you will bunch, grab from the air, gather and then you can say I’m just tricking you the whole time, there’s nothing there, but that’s when you crumble and say unless of course you know some magic words. Have kids offer to say something magical perhaps and then when I crumble, I’m grabbing those little slits that I made earlier in the bottom of the bag allowing me to get inside that first bag where the candy is and for ease of dumping, and producing. And that’s the appearance of the candy, the candy bag trick. Thanks.
