Alright. So, ladies your best friends getting married and you are lucky enough to be the maid or matron of honor. So, we are going to talk about our duties on veils. We are going to get to the needy credit. Now, strangely enough because we are filming this. I am actually the maiden of honor for my best friend and what adventure it has been so far.
Personally, I have found the communication is key with this because the bride to be has some serious expectations. She knows what she want this to happen, when she want this to happen and when if she says “Oh, whatever. you know I do not mind.” That is not the case. Ask a lot of questions and dig deep because trust me you do not want to mess up this one up ladies because she will be remembering this for years and years to come.
So, as we said step one listen. Step two planning, planning, planning, planning are you going to have big events or you are going to have small events, are you going to need to go to every fitting that she has. Realize that you very well have given up the next six months of your schedule and regards with your flexibility for your own activities.
Know what your bride going to want. Is she is going to be demanding or she will be easy going listen, listen, listen you can have as much fun during this as she is having. But you got to work on each other on this and you got to figure out what she wants you to do during this whole process because you got the best to her party, you have got the bridal shower, you have got the dress fittings, you have got travels into the wedding, you have got flowers, your duties are endless if this price so chooses.
So, I know what are you going in to and the nice thing about being in this role is she maybe able to stir her to the color that you look good for your bride’s maid dress and that is a little side know for yourself.
So, once again listen, listen, listen, plan, plan, plan and basically know that you are there to do anything and everything that she wants and do not forget there is also some great books to read because you will have to pack special little bags on her wedding day for the evening, for the bachelor party there are so many details but talk to her, know what she wants and really listen to what she is not saying. So, you can fulfill her every wish without her at even to say.
