Yes, sure, just by plugging the camera when inside a box, it enters "touchscreen&qu ot; mode, and works as a multi-touch screen... People that actually believe this should be shot in the nuts.

How to make an Inexpensive Multi touch Pad in just a few minutes

Materials: cardboard box, a piece of sturdy material (a glass, acrylic or plexiglass), paper (printer, tracing or drafting), webcam-Phillips spc 900nc, computer.

Construction

Trim the paper to the same size as the glass and tape the paper on top. If needed, tape box flaps to make the box taller. Cut a hole for the camera cord to fit through. Pull the cord through the box and tape the webcam in the center. Attach the top piece (paper side up) using tape or be creative. That is it! Plug in your webcam and have fun.
