Halloween Party Favor
Got this idea from the “Martha Stewart Living” magazine October 2007
Items needed: two brown paper lunch bags, scissors, ribbon (any color), small branch and plenty of candy.
Take the first brown paper bag. Take out the folds and flatten as much as possible. Cut thin strips all the way down near to the base. Do not worry about being extra neat. Open up bag, stand up on base and keep open for the second bag. Your first paper bag should look like this.
Take your second paper bag, leave it folded and cut into the top about an inch and a half. Open both bags and place the second bag in the shredded one. Fill with candy (second bag). Insert small branch one inch into the bag. Cinch the tops of both bags.
This is tricky especially when you only have one pair of hands. Hold and press down from that ‘broom’ look. You can use any type of tie such as ribbons, twine, rubber, etc. I am using a black ribbon. This is also difficult to do with only two hands. Wish I had one more hand.
