Hello, I am Dan Norris and we are going to make a Christmas tree ornament from a bunny rabbit and we are using two feet of copper wire that I have twisted. And we are going to use a standard pair of pliers with teeth in it, wire cutter and you get this from a hardware store for about $7.00 to $10.00.
First thing we are going to do is make the hook for the ornament to go around the Christmas tree stem. Then, we are going to take our pliers, put it parallel with that perpendicular to the way we are going to bend. We are going to make a 90 degree bend. Then, we start making a circle.
And the way to make a circle is to grab it consistently spacing and bend it consistently and it automatically start to make a circle. When we want to make the circle, I am going to change the pliers we are using. We wanted to go in behind that hook so, we have to kind of bend it over there for a quick. Covering around like that and then we are going to make the bunny rabbit’s first ear like bringing up an angle like this. And we will always want to go up with this so, what we are just kind to do the same, kind of circle idea except we are only going to go around like this, just so, that makes a kind of a nice bunny rabbit here. And then we are going to grab it here then we are going to make another here. So, we just bring it up this way, grab it again. Make those couple of little bends, get it behind the hook and bring it over so that we have a bunny rabbit. Now, I bend this down just a little bit so we come together like that. So now, we have the head and the two ears. Got to bring it down to make kind of a face, then grab it under the head.
Now, we are going to make the bunny rabbit’s body that make in a plump little body. And again, I just use the pliers and just keep moving up. So, we make kind of a nice plump body and if does not look right, just kind of bend it like that kind of pinch and bend and now we have the body, except we made one mistake, it is spearheaded in front of the head, like this.
So that is not a problem, you can always just correct those mistakes. You are going to bend this back and behind the bunny rabbit and then pinch it here. So, that ties it all together. You can make a squiggly line or whatever you wanted to do here as you make a straight one.
We are going to make the bunny rabbits feet by making the same little bends. This time, we want to bend it in towards the other foot. So, that is the right foot. Then we will make the left foot. Then, we are going to go around here like this. So, we have two feet and grab it like that, bring it up a little bit.
And we are going to make the bunny rabbit’s tail. So, we are just going to go around the bunny rabbit like this, make a tail, and straighten it up and then we will either cut it off here or you can bend it down and make a plant stick also. So that, there is our bunny rabbit Christmas tree ornament.
