Female1: And kinda like just showed my face more.
Elizabeth: Believe it or not, a bad haircut, or a misshapen clothes can make you look older than you really are, so Goodhousekeeping’s set up a photo shoot and ask a team of experts to give a group of women fashion and beauty ideas that complemented their style. Took 5 years off their look and was easy for anyone to achieve.
Linda: There’s a bit too much hair, it’s a little heavy and so as the, the overall look, I think. And I’d like to lighten it up a bit.
Aretha: Linda came to us and she wanted a completely new look. But didn’t wanna change anything drastically, so we covered the grays, we blew her hair up, so we gave her a straighter look. But the most important thing we did was we change her outfit. And the sweater that we chose for Linda has this really phenomenal, dramatic shape. We also gave her a really, really fun neck lace, we paired it with a pair of very neutral wide leg trousers. In the end, Linda looks light, airy and much younger. If redness and the dark circles look are threatening to take over your face…
Alyssa: We get, sort of this dark area in the inner corner of our eye, and we wanna bring light to that, the sort of the secret weapon that we’ve found was the Mally beauty light wand. Well one end is a pencil and on one end is a little bit of a sponge, and it gives you this pretty kind of highlighting right in the inner corner of your eye. You just sort of dot it in there. It’s kind of 8 hours of sleep and a pen.
Elizabeth: I’m Elizabeth Mcguire, for Goodhousekeeping reports.
