Hi, I’m Chris Kelly with Mie N Yu Restaurant in Georgetown in Washington D.C. Today, I’ll be showing you how to make modern mixed drinks including the French Kiss Martina. Which is our Sparkling Raspberry Cosmopolitan, the Moroccan Delight martini which is a Mango martini, the Imperial Palm martini, which is a Pomegranate Sparkling martini, the Kama Sutra martini, which is a Lychee and Sake. The Sultan martini, which is a Peach energy martini, the Pandora’s Box martini which is our version of a classic Daiquiri. The Dancing Shiva martini, which is Tom Bullets, Bullet Whiskey cocktail, the Samurai martini which is a Gin and Sake martini and our Taj Mojito which is a Mango flavored classic Mojito.
It’s important when you get started to have fresh juices, fresh fruit for garnish, different size shakers, a cocktail strainer, a jigger is good for measurement. To make sure that, you don’t make your drinks too weak or too strong.
If you’re going with that you should always drink responsibly. Make sure you have a designated driver. I myself have been working in and around restaurants in the D.C area for over 11 years and all capacities from waiter to manager to bartender.
