Happy Trails!
Try with me, as I gallop through the magical pastures of frame rates. I am Matt., and this is the Shirtless Apprentice.
This episode is going to be the about choosing the right frame rate for your internet video. There are lots of debates over what frame rate to use in your internet video, and what really is important, is your final product and where is it going to be shown, who is going to be watching it and what player are they going to watch it a lot of. But first, let us go back and let us take a look at the frame rates.
It is really pre-dominal in two frame rates that you want to use probably 30 frames or 24 frames. If you are shooting video, it has to be 30 in relays, or 30 progressive, or 24 progressive.
Now 24p limits the look of the cinema, and it gives you that extra film stutter, because that is actually less frame per second, so when you see a movement, you are going to see less of that movement. It is going to be a little choppier. 30 frames are a little crisper, so now we can move back to it applies the internet video, and why you can actually hurt yourself, if you do not plan properly.
An internet video, a lot of players drop your video down to 15 frames, so if you shut them at 24 frames.

So if you shut them at 24 frames, but they are only been shown at 15, what we see is a stutter in 24p, you will see of some kind of distortion, and just frames missing in between movements. On the 15 frame, that people actually are going to see.
On the other hand, iTunes plays it a full 30 frames, and when you edit 24 frames, it is actually 24 frames written to 30 frames, so iTunes would be able to radically show you 24 frames. But if your video is never going to be in iTunes, or it is going to be in YouTube, or video embedded on the webpage.

If your video is only be going to be watch on the webpage, YouTube or an embedded video where the frame rates is going to be 15 or less, you do want to make sure that you did not soot it on 24p. You do not have that exaggerated motion, and you want to be crisp and clear.
