Making a Sound on the Whole Flute

Hi, my name is Visnja at the International School of Music. I would like to tell you how to get the sound on the whole flute. When you learn how to blow on the head-joint, when you have the proper position of your hands, we will start with note B, thumb and index finger on the left hand, right hand just pinky, make your embouchure and blow gentle but steady that your air stream is firm and resonate in the flute. Pressing the next key, after index finger, middle finger you are getting note A. Next one G, with the same fingering, by the over-blowing, you are getting the octave higher. The speed of your air should give the higher frequency and that will give you the higher octave.
