David Epstein: Hi, I am David Epstein and welcome to Growing Wisdom. And I am here today at Weston Nursery. This is my buddy Henry Schmidt. And we are going to be talking about some things that you can do to kind of create some beautiful centerpieces, just a couple things for thanksgiving through the holiday season really. And Henry what do we got here, this cool little wheelbarrow right?
Henry Schmidt: It is a little wheelbarrow to show you that you can use anything in your house as a centerpiece. This is a little pick that you add candles to your foam, this is dry foam, if you feel it, it is completely different from the wet foam.
David Epstein: We added a little bit of sand in there, right?
Henry Schmidt: It is really crushed stone.
David Epstein: Okay.
Henry Schmidt: Have a little weight. So, if there is somebody hits the table, it is not going to fall over.
David Epstein: Okay.
Henry Schmidt: And these are fake greens, but it will give a little bit of character to the piece and the dry material that I am going to use is glycerinated, so that it is dry. It is a natural yellow but if you feel it, it has been glycerinated and then dyed.
David Epstein: They glycerinated it which keeps it, so it is preserve longer.
Henry Schmidt: Right.
David Epstein: So we are basically just taking – you are sort of splitting this up, breaking this.
Henry Schmidt: Right, I am keeping some of these fairly low. I want to hide the works that it is going to hold the candles and if you bury lightly, stretch this Spanish moss around here and there. It will help hide some of the foam. I will add just a hint of green here and there, just to give a little touch and if you could pass me those fruits over there, they would real add a little, then add a few pairs and other things here, and remember this are on your stems. We are going to flip with little mini wire cutters.
David Epstein: So, use the right tools for what you are doing that is really the key. Well Henry thank you very much.

Henry Schmidt: Sure, there is no reason why they cannot.
